i hope the trailer follows better than the pig did.
i hope to be bringing it to townsend to cut in the tailgate, reinforse the opening, and mount the tire carrier.

ok so i brought the trailer over to john's (thanks for the use of the tools and brain's j) to cut in my tailgate. took some measurements, marked them up with tape then started cutting it out built a frame for strength drilled out some holes for spot welds spot welded and stich welded the frame in place drilled out for the tailgate hinges, bolted them in place and test fit the tailgate now i have to clean up the welds and prime it back up to get ready to do the spare tire carrier.

so reolizing that moab was only a month from this friday i got back on this project. i drilled a couple holes and put some eye's to bungie/strap in the gas can, propane and the torch kit will be on the other side when i get it from kurt. i also lowered the lunett ring down to the lower position so it won't interfear with the tailgate anymore. greased it up so it rotates again while i was at it. no pic, sorry. a couple weeks ago i reolized i couldn't build (due to time) or aford to have built (not enough cash) the hard hinged cover i wanted for the trailer so i ordered a canvas cover in drab olive green. i need to make a bow or 2 to hold it up some but you get the idea. i also have in the works 31x10.5x15 bfg muds for the trailer, we will see if it happens.

Looks awesome Mark...you guys did a great job!!!
Have you pulled it loaded yet? Ya know, for a shake down run.
Thinking safety...you can get a hard mount for your 20lb propane tank at any RV place. (less than $25.00) I'm going to pick one up myself.

i have brought some stuff around, couple hundred lbs, but not LOADED yet. that's when i figured out i had to lower the lunett. the big test will be bringing crap down to the rally.
might have to look into that.
SCOTT,how much stuff do you have? the cabin has the bed linnens and mini fridge. i'll have packed the grill and camp stove and small microwave. some tools and tires, all you need is clothing, cameras and cash, and that will be in the jeep.
