yesterday I went on a tour of a number of the "energy" labs around MIT. The one you might appreciate the most was the automotive lab. Ducati on a dyno high-compression direct-injector testing One of many electric cars, and it's base is an old-school porsche Used to develop drive circuitry for a class the auto lab and one of the energy labs works for a consortium of automotive companies developing oil models, advanced alternators, diesel catalysts, reducing emissions on cold start, etc. such a cool tour! more info here: web.mit.edu/sloan-auto-lab/
