Does anyone know of any good four wheel drive shops near the Feeding Hills area? I just had a 2.5 suspension lift, RS5000, installed by an amateur and I'd like to have a pro take a look at it as it is SUPER bouncy. I need to get it aligned also. Looking to get exhaust from cc back replaced as well, don't mind paying for good quality work as I recently learned a valuable lesson about backyard mechanics.

Try Endangered Species in the Springfield area. I've never been there but have heard good things, they also volunteered labor for the NEA's Access 4 All vehicle.

It might be your shocks that are gone thats when my TJ bounces more Its because no damping I bad shock could do it Bounce your jeep on each corner if 1 corner bounces more than the other check the shock Look at the shocks if it looks like it leak any thing its no good
the alignment I do my own with astring with the jeeps all you can Adj is the toe and the pinion angle

Correct, but the person who put them on had never done this type of job before. I don't have a whole lot of faith, that he had any idea what he was doing. It was a real hack job, and that is the polite way of saying it.
I talked to Todd at Endangered Species today and he is going to take a look at it July 9th for me, I was just hoping to have it on the road five weeks ago and it's really not safe to drive at this point.
Patience comes to those who wait though. I know Todd and I know he'll take care of me, I'll just have to wait a little longer.
I'm having the brakes done on it right now and when they had it up on the lift, they showed my husband and I how the bolts that were holding the leafs were really loose and didn't match up. He thought there was a problem with the lift also but doesn't specialize in that so he was unable to do anything other than the brakes. I am a complete novice so I have to depend on others to educate me.
Anyway, that is why you have seen me on here so much as this is the closest I have been to my Jeep since May when we joined thinking we would be on the trails by early June.
I'm trying to learn as much as I can, so I don't get taken advantage of again.
It has been my dream for as long as I can remember to own a Jeep. Everyone on here has been so friendly, helpful and informative. I am really glad my husband and I joined BSJ. I read and learn a lot, I just can't wait to meet up with everyone!
