You need to get a set of mirror movers, relocates your door mirrors to the windshield hinges, so you are legal to drive.

Have them.... oh wait the dopes at Rugged Ridge packaged 2 passenger side re-locater brackets, still waiting (2 weeks now) for the new set. Needless to say, will never order from Rugged Ridge again!!!
So far I have seen about 8 jeeps with no mirrors here, still makes me nervous about not being legal.

isn't that awesome!! !!! I love it. I take them off every chance I get. And yeah, the mirrors..... didn't think they were a big deal until I changed lanes and almost took out a Civic. Yeah, gonna get the relocators. Cheaper than an at-fault accident

You don't need a side mirror to be legal: Chapter 90: Section 7. Brakes, braking systems, mufflers, horns, lights, audible warning systems, and other equipment; compliance with safety standards; stickers and emblems...Every motor vehicle shall be equipped with at least one mirror so placed and adjusted as to afford the operator a clear, reflected view of the highway to the rear and left side of the vehicle...www.mass.gov/legis/laws/mgl/90-7.htmSafe is a different question...

I thought in MASS you needed two mirrors for a passenger vehicle? So what that law is saying is a panel van (no side or rear windows) wouldn't need a right side mirror? sounds funny to me!

A panel van you still 1 mirror to see out of It doesnt matter where it is If its inside on the windshield or outside All you need is 1 mirror

As it was explained to me by my local inspection guy, these days (since last October) a vehicle is supposed to have the same number of mirrors as equipped from the factory.
Mass General Laws defer to RMV laws in several areas.

I got the idea off a forum elsewhere and have used it once, I dont have mirror relocation brackets for my JK yet so I bought 2 of those convex 99 cent mirrors and attached them to the two sides of the jeep windshield. Couldnt honestly see crap out of the passenger side but the drivers side worked-ish Sort of lives up to the letter of the law but defiantely better to have the real mirrors on... Soooo nice to get the doors off though....

Driving with no doors is cool but I prefer 1/2 doors. They give you a place to lean your left leg and an arm rest for your left arm plus the wind doesn't puff your shirt all up.
