"Mike - you want nachos for the game?" "No, I'm going to my GF's to watch the game" So, I end up with a new angle grinder and my son has a new GF. LOL! Works for me! She doesn't come with a warranty though.... That's ok, she doesn't have a guarantee for him either!

Dude, make sure you buy the good cut wheels. Here is a pic of my knuckle from today after 5 minutes with an Ocean State Job Lot disk. I wasn't even cutting, just prepping my skid plate for welding. The disk completly blew apart. I always wear safety glasses, but now I wear gloves too. Yes, she cut down to the knuckle...the skin at the top is all floppy. Look Mom, no hands...I'm cool.

That's why I get most of my discs from Harbor Freight.
The Tru-Value Hardware grinding discs are good, but their cut off disks wear out WAY FAST!!!!!

But I went to NH to buy the angle grinder. Laws are more lax up there. But there's no way they'll sell me a gun! Actually, they might assuming you pass the check. Not sure if they will require you to have a MA gun permit as you'd have a MA (driver's) license. JW

JW If I were any sort of authority in NH, then after the Town Faire Tires fiasco I'd welcome any opportunity to "put it to" MA And whether I get my cutoff disks from Home Depot (can't remember the brand) or Lowes (DeWalt) they still wear out fast.

The private dealer calls a federal background check by phone and they say yes/no. Since it is a private dealer, it not in his interest to avoid a sale just cause you're from MA unless there is a legal restriction... JW

I was fairly sure in NH they only require a valid ID (driver's license) and a federal check. Once you cross the state line you're responsible for complying with local law. JW
