Got home a couple hours ago. I still can't walk. John Tired, but John have beer in hand! Yep, did the front passenger side shaft good. broke the ears off the shaft but not the crosses on the joint In the process of swapping shafts, I noticed my lower ball joint was TOAST Knew the shaft wouldn't survive so broke out the spare joints and press. Then had to fire up the grinder to remove the lower ball joint nut Dan Mick our guide in Moab will be telling the story of the "NASCAR pit team" removing a ring gear in 17 minutes for years ;D ;D ;D

Hey bud how did that turd of yours perform? Curious what pressures were you running? It did absolutely awesome. I'm going to need a couple of upgrades though. Mainly ram assist steering and I want to put a spool in the back. I don't like the "feel" of the locker with 31" of tire width on the ground in the rear. The tires stuck like drag slicks on hot pavement. The first day I ran about 7psi and then dropped to 5 for the remainder of the trip. They're working in well.

Thats great to hear nice feeling to beat on your rig and not have anything break ;D As for the ram assist do it yourself, tap you box (you can borrow all my taps), get a ram from like TSC and hoses from West Texas Offroad (I think). All you'll need to do is build a support on the axle tube. Jason did mine, its real easy and you can get it done really cheap. I know you like to hear that! Hey last we talked you mentioned setting something up for NH

I can't man, not a member. 38's > maximum req. Perhaps I'll be invited where ever the guys go... ;D As for the ram assist do it yourself, tap you box (you can borrow all my taps), get a ram from like TSC and hoses from West Texas Offroad (I think). Already found some 1/4" plate to build the ram mount on the axle Hey last we talked you mentioned setting something up for NH Yep, soon I hope. Probably have a 36" min just like the Fall Crawl requirements. Stay tuned....
