The old lady finally gave me permission to order a lift! yay!!!
So far, the cheapest 3" lifts i've found are
Zone Offroad $290.xx Rustys 250ish NTWonline.com $240
all are add a leafs, include shocks and ubolts, and thats it.I'd rather go with a full leaf pack, but aal is cheap, and i'm not too worried about ride quality as this is 100% beater.
Will i be able to bolt this on and wheel, or are there other parts i should invest in before attempting to take this on the trails?

I did a 2" lift on a Cherokee once. I used a front spacer and full 2" springs for the back - just bought the pieces and bolted them on. One thing I can promise - the leaf spring bushings will be frozen to the bolts and you will not be able to separate them. I ended up cutting both ends of the bolts and replacing them. Don't expect to get anything bigger than 30" tires under there without cutting

Bolt the parts on and wheel it.... You might need to bend/straight out the front brake lines a bit to pull them lower for the added lift. I think you might be ok without a SYE on '91 with 3" lift. What tire size are you running? You might also need bump stop up front.

went with the Zone offroad aal, and I'll be running carl's old 31s with my 2 non slashed 31s as spares.
I'll keep an eye on the brake lines, thanks for the heads up. hadn't even occured to me!
