Just noticed the free UPS shipping ends tonight at 4wd.com Got me wondering how often they and quadratec do free shipping sales. I have a few big ticket items to pull the trigger on but not planning on buying them just now...

Seems like every couple of weeks i get something in my spam box about them having either free shipping or 10-15% off sales (usually amounts to about the same). i wouldn't be overly concerned about missing this one.

I travel for work a lot sometimes and Lou's schedule and mine don't match up too well for picking things up M-Th... I do try to shop local when I can, but I spent about 3 weeks thinking 'oh I better have Lou order this' and then realized he was closed as it was after hours or it was Friday... sux to travel for work but good to have a job.  |

Maybe free shipping, IDK. He is sometime flexible and will meet you at your convenience to pick stuff up. |

I asked him about that last time i was in and he said more or less he didn't want to be hassled outside his shop hours. I think someone had been honking hte horn on saturday recently which made him say this. Probably in a bad mood that day or whatever. I've thrown a chunk of change down in his shop on more than one occasion. No big thing to me either way. |

Go up and see Dom. Tax free and has very flexible shop hours. He'll even leave stuff in a hiding spot outside for you and have you leave cash when you pick up your parts if he's not around. Either way, both guys rock!
