So, it was suggested to me as a form of "advertising" and keeping in touch with friends and clients to become a "twit" as I call twitee's! LOL...
Anyone here twitter?
my name over there, plantsforlife. Just started over the weekend, so don't expect much from me yet! LOL...
Website is underway on being worked on too.
Got my first "official" client. Need to place their container/plant orders and get their clients some poinsettias for the first part of December. Wheeeeee! Here we go!
Anyone need anything, PM me! (if you are fairly local to me...can't kill me on delivery/travel!)

I'm already addicted to Facebook! Don't need another thing to keep me on the PC longer. Anyway, Best of luck with your buiz venture. It's defiantly not easy starting a business but the rewards can be priceless. If I can help in any way please let me know! I've been known to put together a flier or brochure or two.

I think its kind of like someone said people would pay to read Steven Kings shopping list and decided to test the theory.... For that matter just a slight hijack should we consider a club page on Facebook? obviously the no trail name rule would need to apply...

Got slightly busy, checking in over lunch....LOL...gonna get busier!
Between the current three jobs and starting this venture on my own, time is priceless right now! Way too much paperwork to do, need more time "in the field" as it were!
I'll have more time to "Twitt" as time progresses and things calm down.
Scott...I may take you up on that offer at some point!
Need to get the website up and running too. Worked all day on it with a friend/co-worker Saturday.

I spend a good amount of time on Twitter, great way of marketing!! Currently I am getting about 25% of my leads from using Twitter.

Besides web design, I am a consultant for a product called NetSuite www.netsuite.com (if your an accountant you might be familiar with the product). What I do is find great blog post that are informative, which I tweet with a comment. If the people connected to myself also like found the aritcal informative, they will "re-tweet" my tweet. Eventually people will Direct Message myself, which turns into a lead. hope that helps... Oh if you work for a company, be aware that your boss might be watching what you say or do!! I don't use my name anymore for anything on the web because of this.

He's not. My website isn't up yet, and my "twitter" account isn't in my name. Wierd name, not my acutal name. Facebook, well....that is just me. I don't have one for the new gig.
