Just installed the Gibson cat-back split rear exit exhaust on my 07 jk 2 door. This is too loud for my liking. Is there any way to quite things down. It is loud to the point where i don't know if it is legal. If not and someone would like to buy it from me $275.....only 1 hour of driving old!!!!

The only way to quiet it down would be to replace it.
It will get a little louder as it breaks in too.

any improvement in throttle response with the dual or was it too short lived a run to say?

Install a resonator, that should help.

i drove 30 miles last night and to work this morning mostly highway. feels great. feels more responsive to the accelerator (especially from 40-60mph) definitely a little more power.

Get an exhaust cutout with an electric gate valve and if anyone complains that your ehaust is too loud open that up, then they will know loud.

Im running a pipe straight off the cat NO Muffler That way Iwont bend another tail pipe LOL
