You gotta love the forums! Picked up a full set of Currie adjustable control arms for a good price. Was going to just replace my front lowers, after my run with my new friends crushed one of them..... but when I saw this set, I couldn't pass em up. All the HW is there, joints are tight but if I find a problem, they can be rebuilt. Guess what I'm doing this weekend!!

thanks for the offers! But this couldn't wait. Ever since my little adventure with NEJ my front wheels have been pigeon toed. It was like trying to steer a toboggan. I was worried more than my LCA's were toast, the way it was handling I figures i had a ball joint hanging by a thread or at least a shot tie rod. Had to get these in before the snow flies later today so I paid a visit to U-do-it in Nashua this morning and I gotta tell you, I'm impressed with this place. Every bay has a lift. If you use their tools you get a roll-away tool chest. Also have torches and air tools, you name it, they prolly have it. And an ASE mechanic if you have questions But being stubborn I didn't ask for help. Even though it prolly would have saved me 30 minutes or more. Had no idea what I was doing but changed my LCA's in 2.5 hrs. Here's a shot of what I took out..... And here's a few pics of what it looked like when I was done! Oh yeah, found a shock taking a leak all over the place I highly recommend these guys and their shop. They're car guys, not wheelers. But we share the same DNA and I'm telling you, they couldn't have been more accommodating. Two and a half hours in a heated garage, all the tools I needed, lift, blah, blah, blah..... grand total was $60. I spend more than that on a couple beers at a Bruins game. (I buy a couple rounds. What can I say? I'm a helluva guy) EDIT: just looked at the pics..... guess what I missed?

Sweet!
I have a tranny output seal to replace on my mog. Unfortunately, that involves pulling the front axle forward to disconnect the driveshaft. And she doesn't readily fit in the garage. That place might make it a bit easier (and cheaper than paying someone else to do it)

hmmmmm... let me see..... wrong, wrong and........ wrong! (wise azz's ) I didn't install the washer on the outboard side of both arms, the washer that centers the bolt. Not a big deal, I was so focused on the inboard side, I didn't even notice the outboard until I saw the pics

Did you get everything dialed in?
For the front use this as a guide...
For the rear, you need to get your pinion angle right and keep your WB in check.
