I have been to 2 different mechanics and they aren't willing to install my PSC steering box, due to the fact that to make it fit, you need to tap the shear pin on my steering shaft to collapse it 2 1/2" to make the new steering box fit...
Does anyone know where I can get this and my JKS front track bar installed??
Thanx

Any chance you could do it yourself?
Swapping a box isn't too hard.

Not a good idea Joe. Chris, if you're still on the South Shore try Bob at Baystate Offroad.

Well as some of you know...That psychotic ex of mine ruined my life...Hence Probation and I can't leave the state...So that mechanic in NH is out..lol
and I have been back on the North Shore for almost a year now..I wish I knew how to install it myself..I'd be willing to learn if I had the right teacher..But until then...I have to depend on a mechanic...and it is so scary to drive it now...even I am afraid to drive it faster than 20 mph...It has a serious WOBBLE problem

Chris, I mentioned to Lou last night that "someone" was looking to get a PSC box installed, etc. Lou said he'd be happy to do the work.

Well I have my jeep back, and my front end is crazy STIFF..lol the PSC box is in w/hose kit. The front JKS track bar is in, and my new Rugged Ridge draglink is in..But I had to relocate my radiator overflow up 2 inches because my steering box and shaft hit it...No worries..
