Hey all, I actually live in Florida (just north of Tampa), but I grew up in Halifax, Ma. and I get back up there at least once a year. While there for Christmas, I was driving through Bridgewater and saw a baystate jeepers window decal on a parked jeep, so I thought I'd check you all out. It looks like you guys have some pretty cool jeeps. I'd like to try and plan a trip back to Mass. around one of your wheeling trips. Currently, I drive (actually, just putting it back on the road after spending the last few years drag racing mustangs) this- 74 K5 Blazer mild 350/th350/PT203, 6" superlift, 38.5 x 12.5"f/38.5 x 14.5"r super swamper ssrs(old tires in old pic), D44f/12 bolt rear. It's mostly a bogger/weekend toy, but it used to be my daily driver. I'm thinking about purchasing this from a member of the club I'm in here in Tampa- 87 YJ, 2.5fi, auto/stock x-case/ SOA/ d30/9". It's mostly a rock buggy , but it's also his daily driver. He's asking around $4k. If I can sell off one of the mustangs, I'll buy it for sure. Your rigs look pretty mild (as far as lift height/tire size), if I were to meet up w/ you all, would either of these rigs be legal to drive on the street in Mass.? Both are registered/insured in Fl. What are the laws there regarding tire/lift size there? If you get a chance, check out our club at www.suncoastflatlanders.com/Thanks, F_

How long have you been a member of Baystate?2007 How long have you been offroading?Officially, 8 years ago I started doing Jeep Jamborees every year (MA, NY, ME, MI, CA). Unofficially, since I "borrowed" my dad's '76 CJ7 to go muddin' in the woods around where I grew up in Michigan. Gotta love the V8 torque & Quadratrac, that thing was amazing. Been hooked since. Is this your first jeep?Nope. Second one with my name on the title. 1st was a '97 TJ, traded up last summer when I got the Rubi for a steal from an urban wheeler who wanted to get a Hummer... ;D (i could hardly keep a straight face) _________________________________________________ Alan

Tell us about the mods you have made.Not too many mods...yet. I did a 2" budget lift, threw some 31's on there, put some ProComp fog lamps, and am waiting for my Cragar rims (for bigger tires) and tow hooks as we speak. I dont plan on going too crazy with it, as I JUST bought it. I just want it trail capable. Tell us about the mods you hope to make in the future.Rear bumper, 33's, motor mount replacements, QD's, rocker guards, rear panel guards, and a winch. Been planning since I got the jeep, just a matter of $$$ How long have you been a member of Baystate? I actually just sent in payment today. The current secretary lives 1/2 mile from me. Hopefully, I made it in time! How long have you been offroading? Outside of doing it in a HMMWV, not too much. Went with my bro in WA this past weekend, and had a blast. I have only driven this one, and one I had before, on forest roads, nothing too serious. Is this your first jeep? I had a 95 wrangler, that I sold in 2003. I missed it so much, I bought a new one this year Here is a pic (hopefully) of my jeep the day I bought it;

Hello from Maine. I recently joined Baystate Jeepers and look forward to meeting the members this season. This picture is one I took on vacation last week on the Outer Banks. So far the rubi has an OME-HD suspension lift, Jeep Medic engine and transfer case skids, JKS disconnects, a Warn M8000 winch and some other minor mods. I'm planning to change the tires to 265/75R16s, probably some all terrains rather then the MT tires I have now. I've only done very mild off-roading such as the Class VI roads in NH and some tough logging roads around Jackman, Maine and Errol, NH. This is my first SFA Jeep. I do have a stock Liberty as well. This is quite a generic, yet still incredibly interesting hello topic. This is by far the best pic I've ever taken of Puppy. My friends say Im crazy for giving her a name, I tell them its a Jeep thing and they wouldn't understand Tell us about the mods you have made.Since then I've put on 31" TrXus mudders, and some swaybar disconnects (even though I really need a lift to flex a lot without breaking fenders, but theres a story behind this) I also have a hi-lift with chain and whatnot to winch myself out (which is a workout that also works Tell us about the mods you hope to make in the future.More or less anything that will help her go over big rocks without damning my wallet to an eternity in hell. How long have you been a member of Baystate?Well, my email says about 24 hours; but I just found out 10 minutes ago. How long have you been offroading?I've loved doing everything off the pavement since I was born, I've only just learned to do it in a vehicle though Is this your first jeep?I had a toy one when I was a kid

My name is Andy. I learned to drive in 1969 in a 1950 Willy's when I worked at a campground in NH. I said to my girl at the time (Now wife for 30yrs) someday I'm going to get a jeep and I want to mount a wench on the front bumper. She replied don't look at me!!!, you're going to have to find someone else, I'm not!!! going there. Kids are gone and finally My money is mine not theirs..... Here is my Rubicon and it's growing bit by bit. I do my own work, and am having a blast even though my knuckles are a mess.. Last time I worked on a car was when I was a kid. When I bought it I didn't tell my wife the prices of the other models. I knew I would never be able to explain why I needed to replace the front axel and stuff like what lockers are for....

My name is Brian and I have become a Jeep guy in the last 6 months. I bought a XK (Commander) over a H3 and love it. Best ride I ever have bought. I liked it so much I needed to get it a sibling. So I went out and bought a 99 TJ. The TJ is named after my yellow labs dad: FOOTER. They are about the same color. Tell us about the mods you have made. 4" Rough Country Lift, 33" Cooper Discoverer STT, Condor Custom Rims, Diamond Plate Rocker Panels, Custom front bumper, SkyJacker front sway bar, Apline speakers, Kenwood Deck. Tell us about the mods you hope to make in the future. I am mostly finished with the Mods. Little things like new mirrors, jack, new foglights. How long have you been a member of Baystate? Just signed up the the forum last night. Hope to put the application in soon. I hope there are other jeepers near me. How long have you been offroading? I did a little in the XK but wife was on me for offroading a 40k rig. So I bought the TJ. We do on mild trails occasionally and hit the beach at the Cape. Is this your first jeep? I bought my XK (Commander) in March TJ 99' Sport, Desert Sand, 4" Rough Country Lift, 33" Cooper Discoverer STT, Condor Custom Rims, Diamond Plate Rocker Panels, Custom front bumper, SkyJacker front sway bar, Apline speakers, Kenwood Deck.
