Looks like I'll be doing a clutch & slave cylinder replacement job on a Jeep YJ in my garage. Probably this weekend or possibly next weekend. Still working out the details.
Let me know if you are interested in partaking in the wrenchfest. Doesn't matter if your a seasoned wrencher or someone who just would like to learn some wrenching skills.
If interested post up here or shoot me an e-mail at kurtklopp@aol.com. I'm in Pepperell, MA.

I'm trying to nail down when. The kid who owns the Jeep still has to buy the parts and get it to my house. I'll post up as soon as I know which day the clutch job will be. I could probably do the welding on the same day as the clutch job. Of course you can stop by most any day and we can work on your control arms & skids!

To my suprise the kid showed up yesterday at 11 am with the parts and ready to get to work on it. My ding-a-ling daughter didn't let me know ahead of time he was coming over.
So the clutch job was over and done with by 8 pm Saturday. We installed a new clutch, pressure plate, clutch slave cylinder, clutch master cylindar and rebuilt the front drive shaft (u-joints)
And yes, the grarage is heated.

man! That would have been more fun than moving Doug's stuff out of his Mom's. I only asked about the heat, because then you know what to wear. Can we do the skid plates over at your house/garage? pleeeeeeeeeeze?

I don't have a lift ...... yet. TJ may be one up on me there. I use a large floor jack to lift vehicles up and then support the them with 4 jack stands.
