Since installing the 1" Body Lift last week I've noticed that the Transmission Hump seems to be Hotter, I thought today my RH foot was going to melt. Anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix? Possibly a heat shield I may need to bend up or down to direct air up there?

Isn't your body 1" further away from the transmission?
or are you saying the motor mount lift moved it closer?

Should be about the same as B4 both lifts, except angle maybe... I also did take out that Transfer drop, so that moved it a little closer.

thats typical of most wrnglers. i know of a few people that have taken the silver windshield heatshields and epoxied them to the tub between the tranny and they say that it makes a difference.

get a pice of jute carpet padding from a carpet store and trim it to fit under the carpet around the shifters. it should be similar to the stock carpet pad/insulation, and it will help insulate the floor a bit. otherwise you could fab up a small heat shield for over the tranny, but that would be tricky getting it to fit and clear the tranny while giving it space to actually work.

Gus, I don't have carpet, tub is herced. good idea though. I figured out why it was so hot, there was a little hole from where I re drilled the TC linkage mount and hot AIR was blowing on my leg so this made the normally warm tub seem warmer.
