So folks.... Time to start planning...again. I would love to hear where you think a meeting could happen for the March get together. Also, the October meeting, and the Member Appreciation Day. This is your club, and I would like YOUR opinions. I also would like to say, anyone that is interested in helping out...more hands make for lighter work, so please let me know. Also....any input about Saturday is greatly appreciated. Good, bad, or indifferent. All input is welcome! If you feel the need you can PM me. Thanks all, looking forward to another year of planning for all of us.

I loved the way you did up the "secret" prizes. I think everyone was happy with their winnings. The food was good, the weather was too cold. (I think you need to work with Mother Nature on that one!) One disappointing thing though, with all the noise from down stairs in the farm's restaurant and gift shop, it made it very difficult to hear what was being said at the meeting. I suggest a closed in room for the meetings. All in all, you put a huge amount of effort into this meeting and it was great. Too bad some members couldn't make the meeting, they missed a good time. Keep up the good work. Sharon

I'd have to agree with you on the noise..here and there, it was tough. Hard to tell those things when you see the place before they open for the season. Yes, it was that long ago. Now I know. Kim and I went out there before they even had the booths made in the eating area downstairs.
Mom Nature, well, she has a mind of her own. ARen't you glad I didn't agree to the deck for the day? LOL!

I would prefer it if the gifts were NOT wrapped.... I think luck is luck... luck from opening the "best" box VS. luck of getting the first number to pick your own "best" prize. By letting the person pick it, they get whats best for them, regardless of apparent value. My thought! KEV

Hey Kelly I liked the way you ran the raffle, and I think it worked out well. This way, it's not just a matter of timing that determines whether you get "what you want", but there's still some chance left in it. Good Idea on that
