If the weather turns out nice on the 7th, I will probably bring the Willys to this..!! :-) Nice! Are you sure you won't miss it for a while when I take it for a cruise.

Random thought / Question.. Has there ever been any kind of talk about building some kind of BSJ "project vehicle" ever..? Obviously i know ( firsthand btw= i.e. check avatar) how much time, money, etc it takes to build up a project.., I was just curious too see what others thought.. Winter IS around the corner you know..!!! :-)

Oh, and also BTW, Kimballs ice cream in Westford IS having thier car shows on Thursday nights now.. I am bringing the Willys there tonight. The last time i went there ( a few weeks ago) there was a 45' military Willys, and a few other "project" jeeps , as well as about 125 custom cars, hot rods, and trucks.. A fun "car" night, PLUS awesome Ice cream..!!!!!!!!

Besides the time and money, who would register it, who would insure it, and who would store it? The NEA is building a rig for Access for All, but that is with donations and volunteerism. It's a decent idea, but doesn't seem practical.

I know what you mean about BSJ having 100 something "project jeeps" already.. I currently have 2 of my own....I was just curious if anyone was possibly interested in a fun winter project like that. I was thinking along the lines of some kind of specialty project like a budget flatfender, or trail-rig with with some sort of a spending limit. It would be for fun really.. and yes, obviously I know how much it would cost, in man hours, in registration fees, storing it somewhere, etc. It wasn't supposed to be a "practical" idea, as I said, something just for fun , that could get some interested members together to wrench on and wheel , other than using thier own personal rigs.. :-)

It's not like we're centrally located, where something like that would be practical. We do get together sometimes, Matt almost never works on his heep if I'm not around, and I know that there have been some wrenchfests at Kurt's place, but there's no way I can get there unless on a weekend. Weekends that I'm not wheeling I'm spending with family.
