I am assuming (yes I know, never assume) that most if not everyone here is aware of Elias 4WD Center in Townsend Ma.
Yesterday I had the pleasure of visiting Elias and speaking to Lou. First impression was, ok so they sell jeep parts and have a couple bays for wrenching. Second impression hit me like a 100ft tidal wave!!! You can order all the part catalogs you want to look thru for your next mod, but wouldn't you rather see the items first hand?? I couldn't believe the amount of inventory they stocked. Better yet, how you can actually see what you are purchasing.
But folks, it doesn't stop there!!! Before I saw any inventory or spoke of an exact component (besides what I went there to pick up), Lou wanted to learn more about myself and my plan regarding the jeep. Now you can say, that is his job and how he sells parts, however I have never gone to a local store and received the amount of attention I received from Lou. Without getting into details, Lou's feedback covered the following: Safety regarding my passengers and myself, protection to my investment, developing a mod plan that aligns to wheeling ability.
To make a long story short, not only did I learn of a local after market parts supplier, but I received education on what I was purchasing.
In the end, I am not saying that everyone will have the same experience but I am very thankful for the time Lou spent talking to me.
I am a person that stick with something that works and can truly say that I will be returning to Elias in the near future (need to pick up a set of tires, was sad to leave them there without a home. You know how those new beefy tires can look at you when your are walking away...)
BTW.. if anyone needs web work done(vbulletin, Joomla, WordPress, PHP/Mysql, eCommerce, SEO) please contact me... could use the $$ so I can provide a good home for those SSR's!! LOL.. cheap plug!
