Day 6 of my week off, and I'm beat. But my to-do list is shorter. Replaced my steering box and starter. Installed my BL, just waiting on a grommet to adjust the shift linkage. Installed an engine - tranny skid and adjusted my emergency brake and rear brakes. Found out I'll need shoes soon but figure I should be good for another 2 - 5K. What a difference that made, my pedal is like a rock now. Prolly put out a call for help when that time comes around, haven't worked on drum brakes in 20 years. Maybe a wrench fest, I'll supply vittles and beer. (The suds will be 'to go' ) Still need to install my Rokmen tank skid but need to burn off another 1/4 tank of gas. Plus I'm not sure I want to start that and end up sidelined for the Sunday cut and run if anything goes funny. Can't wait to go back to work and relax

I've been "on vacation" from work full time since the end of June... I just spent last week at Newfound Lake in NH with 3 other families + extended families... It was hard! Spent the days sitting at the beach in the shade (sunny, 90s, high humidity, lake was 74*) reading a book or hanging with friends, drinking a frosty beverage, and playing in the water with the kids... Oh - and going out wakeboarding a couple times a day... Very hard time... Fortunately, I have some actual work prospects that will pay coming up in Sept! JW
