While looking at different rocker protection available from the different manufactures, I stumbled across Poison Spyder's Ricochet Rockers. www.poisonspyder.com/products.php?product=ricochet_rockersDoes anyone have these mounted or seen them first hand? How is the product quality from Poison Spyder? How important is it to have rocker protection from ww2ww? I was also looking at the rokmen ww2ww rocker protection with the tube, but the tube might be to high to use it as a step. I like the fact they have a dimpled plate that you can use as a step.

I have the A to Z rockers that are WW2WW and love them, they are also a bit cheaper the Poison Spyder rockers. Not sure if the WW2WW is really necessary since I have never hit that part of the Jeep but I feel better to have it and not need it then need it. It does add $50 to the price. Here is the A to Z rockers. Some of you may recognize the Jeep they have pictured (select W2W for the right pic) www.atozfabrication.com/store/product.php?productid=16147&cat=249&page=1

i had the a to z rocker guards (not ww2ww though) and they held up very well, and i wasn't gentle on them. i think i paid 250 (cuz of the step) and 10 bucks for spray paint. with the little one, i'd recommend not getting the extra bar, my knees took a beating tossing my daughter into her car seat.
anyways, i'd buy them again if i had too. Zach answered emails very quickly, and i think order to door was only 3-4 days. he forgot to pack the gasket, and overnighted it to me at no charge.

Are the Ricochet Rockers related to Ricochet Rabbit?

I had the PS Rocker Knockers. They were great! Installation was a PITA because you need to trim 3/16" from a couple body mounts as they tie in there. As far as I know PS are the only rocker protection that tie's into the body mounts. Having said that, the end result is a very strong, nice looking rocker guard. IMO these new ones are even better looking than the knockers. Also note they will come bare steel, you'll need to paint or have them coated. I give them... TWO THUMBS UP.

I have the same ones on my YJ. Very sturdy! Painted mine with primer and then a couple of coats of Rustoleum Professional High Performance Enamel in the rattle can. I love that stuff!

Scott... Did you end up painting or PC?? Painted. then re-sanded and repainted just before I sold it to Meg. Your going to screw them up anyway on the rocks, save a few buck and just paint.
