will a steering box and steering pump from a 05' TJ bolt onto a 98' TJ and function properly?

i don't think it is. when i needed a new steering box for my 04, i looked at upgrades, and found that prior to 03, you could use a durango box, but it wouldn't work with 03+, so i would guess it wouldn't work for you
