So, I came home today and there it was, issue 19, volume 4 of CRAWL (www.crawlmag.com) On the top of the cover it says "Ian Johnson's Trail Ride" and I thought, "Hmmmm" "could it be?" Opened it up to page 64 and their it was "GREAT AMERICAN JEEP RALLY" A SIX PAGE article about the Rally and the trail ride that followed! AWESOME! There are some great pictures of our local boys wheeling with Ian. Thanks Ian! Pick up your copy today or subscribe to a great mag at www.crawlmag.com Ian Johnson now owns it and runs some great articles in it. Please note that there was a small typo in the article, it reads the Rally has been going on for 2 years. It's been 8 years Ian!

good question! I bet Borders or another big book store will have it.
It is a by monthly so if you subscribed you'd most likely get this issue.

Before they folded I had seen it at either Borders or Barnes&Noble, I'm not sure which. The website says that the latest copy won't be on news stands until 11/17. I just ordered a subscription and they said it will start with the next issue.

Man that thing is a beast! I just read a post on jeepforum that Crawl is under new ownership and can be found at Barrens and Nobel, seems at least one store had this out early. haven't had a chance to look for it yet, but will check it out...

i thought that also when i first saw him running with the tires that hard. but according to him and a bunch of others i have talked to about the red label aka sticky crawlers you want to run higher pressure. when its lower the tread wraps around the rocks too much and the blocks become solid making them slicks. we found that out on the first pair of krawlers he bought out in the hammers. the sucked running them at 8 lbs. once he added air they worked alot better. wierd but hey whatever works.
