Max, I got an 8.8 out of a 96 Explorer, 3.73 to match the front, factory Limited Slip and factory Disk brakes. It hangs a little low, so I need to get 33s under there. In order to fit them, I got some 3.5" BDS springs from Lou the other day. Wanna help me change springs? ;D

I had an 8.8 in my YJ. 4.88s, Lincoln Locker, disc brakes.
When I sold the YJ I swapped the D35 back in and sold the 8.8 to Amy. She never installed it in her YJ. She sold it to someone in Ct.

Ok, progress report. Sears is having a closeout on Dunlop Radial Mud Rovers, and had one set of 33" left. I bought them on Saturday, they are gonna hold them till I can get the truck down there for installation.
So, me and my oldest son Matt installed the front springs on Sunday afternoon, then installed the rear springs on Monday afternoon. During the install of the front springs, I noticed that the brake lines weren't long enough, so I took the flex lines off of the calipers.
On Monday, after wrapping everything up (although it still looks like I'm going to have to re-shim the rear to get the pinion angle correct), we went to bleed the brakes, and broke the bleeder on the driver's side. Rather than mess with it, I went and bought a new caliper, by the time I got home it was dark so quit for the evening.
Took Tuesday afternoon off from work, went back and started to carefully bend the hard lines to get a little more reach for the brake flex lines. Of course, you have to know that I broke one of the 15 year old, brittle, rusty hard lines (I know, I should know better). So, after cleaning up and heading out to Woodward spring to get brake lines and wedges, I get home and it's dark again. That's where I am now, trying to figure out how to tell my boss I need ANOTHER afternoon off to go work on my jeep!
In the meantime, my sticker has expired and my new 33" tires are still sitting in the warehouse of the Sears tire center waiting to dissappear. I'm still hoping to make the Hookey run, we'll see what happens. If nothing else, I can bring the TJ and run the stocker trail
