Does anyone know a good metal fabrication shop around that can bend me up so 3/16 steel plates.

I don't know of any shops, but you might want to check with the metal fab teachers at your local Vo-Tech high school. I'm taking a welding class at South Shore Vo-Tech in the evenings, and the instructor there is always doing that kind of stuff for people

If you are north of Boston. The Northeast Metropolitan Regional Vocational Technical High School of Wakefield (just like seeing that name) has welding/fabrication classes (http://neadulted.com/).
