So for people like me who are too cheap to buy a new bumper and would rather just bash the stock one, but want to get rid of the boxing gloves check out:

I'm glad they only ran you 3 bucks each.
The by laws states that the 'boxing gloves' or plastic end pieces on the TJ must be removed before a run.

At least that's what the bylaws stated when I was on the BOD, haven't checked the updated version.
But if it's still there, it need to be enforced.
They will only slow the group down when they hit something with them and it bends into the tire.
