hi all
spent fri sat sun and monday wheelin and camping between westfield russel otis and becket massachusetts awesome scenery good food fires and company we lost one truck in westfield for two days went out tues and recovered it great times
then
weds i had to run to the corner store for smokes and smoke is what i got took a left at the end of my street and poof oil and anti freeze everywhere when i looked underneath i saw the most nasty hole in my oilpan metal everywhere a rod laying next to it bad day for me ........................ the motor did have over 300,000 on it no knocks or ticks anything just a small rear main seal leak then this ugghhhhhhhhhhhhh looking for new motor any help or info would be great thanxs baystate jeepers

at least my cherokee will get some dirt time now

well joe no kids yet and i only got into 3rd gear cant really drive like an animal with 37s on pavement

after hours of junkyard diving found a 95 zj motor 89 and 90 xj motor all with 300 000 or better on them found a new one from advanced for 1600 bucks and then on my way home passed garys jeeps in chicopee ma so i stopped he had one in a 94 yj running with 115000 on it so i gave him 600 bucks and its in the shop now hopefully will be back on the trail this week

I have one still sitting in a '92 XJ with 116,000 on the clock that I could've given you a deal on |
